Why The Power of 10,000

We recognise that the inequality gap is growing for young people who do not have the right connections within industry, work, and community.

Our ambition is for all young people on a WeMindTheGap programme to benefit from the power of connections to employers, education partners, mentors, volunteers, and friends, all sharing the same ethos and determination to build social capital within our communities.

By 2030, it is our ambition that the Power of 10,000 Connections will benefit the 5,000 young people forecast to be supported across three Villages and five programmes delivered by WeMindTheGap.
